Of course, it’s not possible for us to anticipate or provide safety rules for every specic situation, so we ask you to

apply commonsense precautions when using the device in a situation that isn’t described below.

• This appliance is designed to be used at home or in a small oce. It is not suitable for any other use, including

commercial and catering applications.

• Never use the appliance out of doors.

Attention! Never leave the appliance connected to the mains when it is unattended.

When you have nished using the appliance, always switch it o and remove the mains

plug from the wall socket or extension cable.

• This device is not supposed to be used by physically or mentally handicapped people, or persons without

experience or knowledge (including children, as well), unless such a person supervises or guides their use of

the device, who is at the same time responsible for their safety. As for children, supervision is recommended

to make sure that they do not play with the device. This device is not supposed to be used by children under

the age of 14, not even with supervision!

• Only use the coee maker on a stable, level surface. Keep it away from water and make sure it cannot

accidentally slip or fall. If the appliance comes into contact with any kind of moisture or liquid during use,

immediately disconnect it from the mains. Do not touch it or attempt to remove it from the liquid until the

power has been switched o. You must not use the appliance again before having it checked by a specialist

engineer.

• Water vapour is generated when making coee. Please bear this in mind when deciding where to use the

coee maker. It needs to be in an area where air can ow around it freely and should never be used in narrow
