Assembly / disassembly

Note: For assembly you will need a working space

at least 16 m

in area and 4 m in diameter.

Note: If possible have a second person help you

with the assembly.

Note: Keep 4 pieces of approx. 50 x 50 x 5 cm

paving slabs close at hand for the paving stand.

Place the paving slabs evenly on the cross members

of the paving stand.

Assembling the paving stand

j Fit the cross member for paving stand 2

on top

of the cross member for paving stand 1

(see

Figure B).

j Bolt the bottom pole section

to the assembled

cross members. Use the bolts (approx. M8 x

20 mm)

with the plain washers

(approx. ø 8 mm)

(see Figure C).

j Insert the top pole with attachments

into the

bottom pole section

attached to the paving

stand and screw the two poles together with the

union nut

(see Figure D, step

Opening the umbrella top

j Push the arm

upwards until it meets the stopper

(see Figure E, step

). Lock the support rod

in place by pushing the plastic sleeve

downwards (see Figure E, step

j Push the handle

upwards until it meets the

stopper

(see Figure F, step

). Lock the handle

in place with the locking knob

. To do this

turn the locking knob

in the clockwise direction

to tighten it (see Figure F, step

j Turn the crank

clockwise until the umbrella top

is completely open (see Figure G, step

Turning the umbrella roof

j Release the lock on the handle

by turning the

locking knob

anticlockwise until the handle

moves freely (see Figure G, step

j Swivel the umbrella top

into the desired

position (see Figure G, step

j Lock the handle

in place with the locking knob

. To do this turn the locking knob

in the

clockwise direction to tighten it (see Figure G,

step

Inclining the umbrella top

j Release the lock on the handle

by turning the

locking knob

anticlockwise until the handle

moves freely (see Figure H, step

j Push the handle

downwards until the desired

inclination angle is reached (see Figure H,

step

j Lock the handle

in place with the locking knob

. To do this turn the locking knob

in the

clockwise direction to tighten it (see Figure H,

step
